Our project in VISC201 was to create a movie poster featuring some sort of mythological creature based on our zodiac and/or Chinese zodiac. Since both my signs are Taurus and Ox, I decided to go with a two-headed bull.

This was probably the hardest part of the project—finding two pictures of bulls that would be easy to splice together. A little bit of vector masking and some spot healing brush let me graft the extra head on so that it looked mostly natural.

Obviously, the legs couldn't stay in the final picture because they'd been hidden by grass in the original, so they would be hidden behind the movie credits. Still, the Toro Toro needed to look like it was standing on something, and I picked this grassy mountain. Its sky was much too blue and cheerful, though, and needed to go.

Much more dramatic this way. I put a grey filter over the landscape and the Toro Toro so they fit with the stormy sky. Add the movie credits over top, and you get the final poster.
